Carmine Guerriero was awarded the 2011 Hans-Jürgen-Ewers-Prize at the 10th Conference on Applied Infrastructure Research at Berlin University of Technology (TU Berlin) on the 7th of October 2011 for his work on
"The Political Economy of (De)Regulation: Theory and Evidence from the U.S. Electricity Market".
The Hans-Jürgen-Ewers-Prize for applied research in infrastructure economics is awarded to innovative research relating to regulation, deregulation and the financing of material, personnel, and institutional infrastructure. Its focus is on economics as well interdisciplinary (e.g. with relation to business, engineering, law, or political sciences) work.
