The governing board of the new cross-faculty cooperative research initiative ACES (Amsterdam Centre for European Studies), successor to ACCESS EUROPE, seeks the input of all researchers at the law faculty on the direction to be taken by and the focus of the new platform, which is currently in the process of applying for university research priority area status.

ACES brings together researchers from various faculties at the UvA - Economics and Business (FEB), Humanities (FGw), Law (FdR), and Social and Behavioural Sciences (FMG), in particular. Its aims to promote interdisciplinary synergy and collaboration between researchers at the various faculties, increase the visibility and impact of European research at the UvA, and enhance the quality of the public debate.


An open consultation will take place on 2 October at 15:30 in REC B2.10. Coffee and cake will be served. We invite our colleagues to provide active input regarding the proposed research theme and subtopic structure.
