The Law Library provides open access (OA) publishing support on many fronts to researchers at the faculty. Want to know more about the possibilities for OA publishing and the current state of affairs? Attend this Law Library presentation and learn about the following topics.

Event details of Open access publishing at the Faculty of Law

  • OA deals with academic publishers and the recent agreement concluded with Wolters Kluwer;
  • Plan S and its implications;
  • the Dutch initiative OpenRecht – an open publishing platform;
  • article 25fa of the Dutch Copyright Act (the so-called Taverne amendment) as a legal basis for granting open access to your scientific journal articles;
  • Pure as a tool for adding OA publications to the UvA repository.

Although the working language will be English, the presentation will cover information relevant to both international and national legal researchers.
