Ádám Fehér, 'Essays in Law and Economics', May 2024

On 24 May 2024 Ádám defended his PhD dissertation “Essays in Law and economics”. The first two papers of Ádám’s PhD thesis focus on non-competition agreements, while the final chapter examines the liability of digital social media platforms for user-generated content. All three papers develop a microeconomic model grounded in standard labour economics theory to investigate how regulatory measures regarding noncompetes and digital platform liability could enhance social welfare.

Between September 2018 and August 2023, Ádám Fehér was ACLE PhD candidate at the Finance group of the FEB, under the supervision of Giuseppe Dari-Mattiacci (ALS) and Enrico Perotti (FEB). Ádám is an M.Phil. graduate from the Tinbergen Institute.
